The Numbers of Hope is a six-week sermon series by Pastor Burkey. The series is based on the book 3:16 The Promise by Max Lucado.
The sermons will take place at the regular weekend services held at Christ Lutheran Church Ministries.

He Gave
- The amazing difference Jesus makes as God’s Unique Gift of His only Son because:
- Our hearts are unholy (sinful)
- Christ’s heart is holy
- The heart exchange – we have the amazing gift of a perfect Savior
Week #4: April 12–13, 2008
We Believe
- The power of faith is when we believe in Jesus and the gift of salvation He brings.
- You can’t save yourself
- Other religions can’t save you
- Jesus can save you
Week #5: April 19–20, 2008
We Live
- Where will we live after we die – the surprise of Hell or discovering what makes Heaven heavenly? Do we live with Christ or without Him? What difference does that living situation make in life now and for all eternity?

God’s Whoever Policy
- God’s love is for everyone and the gift of Jesus is for all. God’s Whoever Policy means:
- God’s offer is extended to whoever (everyone)
- God takes us however we come to him (in whatever condition)
- God accepts us whenever we choose to believe
- Wherever you are, you’re not too far to come home
