Music Ministry
Youth Praise Band – for high school and college age musicians and vocalists. This ensemble plays for the evening youth worship services the third Sunday of each month. They rehearse on Sunday evenings from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
School Music Ensembles
From grades 5 to 8, students may join a handbell group that plays for school chapel, Sunday worship, Grandparents Day, and some off-campus events. Grades 5-6 meet during the school day in separate groups, and grades 7 to 8 meet before school.
The Praise Band is the musical ensemble for our 10:30 a.m. contemporary worship. While participation in this ensemble is by invitation, if you play an instrument or like to sing contemporary music and would like to become a member of the Praise Band, you are encouraged to make your desire and skills known by calling the church office.
Sabbath Sound is a 5-octave hand bell ensemble for high school age and older. The ringers meet for rehearsal on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. from September through early June. This ensemble leads in Sunday worship about every 4-6 weeks and prepares selections for special festival services.
Sanctuary Choir is for men and women of high school age and older. They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m., from September through early June. This choir helps lead the hymns for our traditional worship and special festival occasions.
