Life Groups
Resources for starting, leading, and sustaining a Life Group.
Our Philosophy
We believe that life is best lived together, which is why we celebrate and encourage all to be in a Life Group.
Life Groups bring 8–12 people into an intentional community centered on gathering, growing, and living the way of Jesus — not just on Sundays, but in the everyday rhythm of ordinary life. We think the best place for that kind of community is right where life actually happens: in our homes. There's something about opening your front door, pulling up a chair, and sharing a meal that tears down barriers and builds real trust. The table has always been a sacred place... Jesus himself did some of his most important work around them... and we carry that conviction into our Life Groups. (If a home isn't available, we're happy to open a room at Christ Lutheran, because the space matters far less than the people in it.)

Resources
We aren’t prescriptive about what Life Groups study, but we have some encouragement.
Our first recommendation is that you use the sermon-based Life Group Study that is produced each week to accompany the sermon. You can find those updated each week in the bulletin here. Using this encourages all individuals in the group to gather in worship where we receive God’s grace through Word and Sacrament and are encouraged and enabled to go back into the world.
Our second recommendation is to use RightNow Media video series. All those affiliated with Christ Lutheran can sign up for a free account here. Once you have an account, you'll have access to a library of recommended studies curated by us.
Our final recommendation is to utilize Concordia Publishing House, an organization that produces resources that adhere to the doctrinal standards of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
